Enigma 4 is different from the other 3, but there are still some similarities. Some of the tracks are very ambient, and have a very spacious feel to them. As with Enigma 3, this CD begins with voices talking at the start, with some of the more common Enigma themes appearing throughout the entire CD. One thing particularly noticeable is that some tracks are based on an old classical piece of music - I can't remember the name, but I think it's the ... ...in with the rest of the music, and it goes very well. In addition to the ambient, laid-back tracks, there are some fast-paced ones. Among the tracks on the CD, you can expect to hear some of the lyrics from previous releases, as well as new sounds, and a track which contains selected lyrics from other tracks on the CD. Personally, I'd recommend this CD to any Enigma fan. If you're not an Enigma fan already, you may or may not like it. You either ...
Advantages: Great music! Disadvantages: Too short!
...Track Listings 1. Shepherd moons
A beautiful, light as a feather opening track. Fully instrumental.
2. Caribbean blue
An album highlight, listening to this song is like pure velvet. Absolutely stunning. The video for this single is breath taking and features Martine McCutcheon before she joined Eastenders! 3. How can I keep from singing
A cover of a very old Shaker hymn. Also a single and has an accompanying video. This is a haunting song. 4. ... ...movie. One of my all time favourite tracks. Enya sings in Gaelic about the traditional "waulking songs" sung by women and used when fulling cloth. Waulking songs are unique to the Outer Hebrides.
5. Angeles
Another haunting song, which rumoured took months to complete. The rich texture of the vocals is astounding! Nearly 1000 layers!
6. No holly for Miss Quinn
Another instrumental. Quite beautiful and easy to play if you are good at the piano!

Advantages: Interesting selection of songs, lovely voice Disadvantages: Some lesser-known songs didn't add a great deal to the album
...with anything from pop/rock/folk to the old jazz standards with no difficulty at all. "The Collection" gives her every opportunity to display her vast range. With classic pop 1960's tunes such as "Dancing in the Street" and "I Only Want To Be With You" usually sounding better from the original artist I was pleasantly surprised when I really enjoyed her versions. "The Crying Game" in particular is an especially difficult song to sing but Barbara managed ... ...Cliff Richard) along with the hit "January February" which enjoyed a great deal of success in 1980. However, I have to reserve my biggest praise for her superb rendition of "Stardust" which is well phrased and beautifully sung. The piano accompaniment is also excellent. Easy listening album and very enjoyable. ...
Advantages: If you want music to help you sleep, think, make you fall in love, THIS IS IT! Disadvantages: None so far, except maybe you could get too hooked to it..it can become an OBSESSION!
...saw this review for Enya's Watermark album that got me ohhh so curious. So what happened was I listened to the samples they have on Amazon and now I am hooked! My favourite is watermark. Can you believe it? The song actually made me cry. I read all 100+ reviews and I just have to agree. Enya is amazing, she is and still is a phenomenon! ...
Advantages: Less than an hour long. Disadvantages: Awful, awful, awful music.
My girlfriend's great, she really is. She has excellent taste in many things (boyfriends not least among them) but if there's one thing we'll never agree upon it's music. Although we both have very varied tastes, they never seem to coincide. Her CD collection consists of twangy Redneck folk, soundtracks from drippy chick-flick films she likes, dodgy compilations (ie NOW 1983) and, worst of all, this. Medwyn Goodall. I've selected this one CD, "Earth ... ...of M.G. CDs and I can't actually distinguish between them, so this will do as well as any of the others as a subject for this opinion.
There are loads CDs by Medwyn Goodall (and similar artists), all sold mail order or in those funny smelling girly shops with crap hanging from the cielings and a loads of hideous "Grey Alien" merchandise. The Medwyn Goodall CDs have names like "The way of the Dolphin", "Medicine Woman" and "Priestess, the return ...
