Review of Yongala Wreck Dive

I Wage War Against Germs.

Advantages: A good quality antibacterial soap
Disadvantages: None

a yoyo and more often than not I end up with my hands in the soil so I want to be able to scrub up and feel confident that I have killed whatever germs may have strayed onto my skin. I paid 75p for my last bar of Dettol soap and I don't feel that it is a high price to pay for an anti-bacterial soap. The pale yellow bar weighs 125g and it is a hard soap so whereas soft soaps melt away in the hot water the harder bar of Dettol soap lasts me quite a time. The water in our area tends to be a bit on the hard side anyway and I do find that Dettol soap seems to give me little in the way of lather. But Dettol do say that it kills most germs including E.Coli and Salmonella so that works in its favour. The anti bacterial soap has an inbuilt moisturiser but I still find that my skin needs extra moisturising cream if I am using the soap regularly. I ...

Review of Dettol Bar Soap

Waging War on Pet Hairs

Advantages: Cleans brilliantly
Disadvantages: A bit cumbersome

I swore I?d never buy a Dyson. Not at that price. How good could a vacuum be to warrant such a whopping monetary difference? No matter what I read, or how good people told me a Dyson was, I didn?t believe the price could possibly be justified. A classic case of paying for the name. But then 6 months ago yet another vacuum cleaner broke on me after not much use and I decided to face the ?told you so?s? and splash out. After a lot of reading, researching and online price comparisons, I decided on the DC08 Animal cylinder model. I thought that maybe it was the cat hairs that had buggered my previous vacuums, so decided to splash out on a model specifically designed to cope with the havoc pets wreak on your carpets.
