The Butterfly Effect is a great film starring Aston Kutcher as Evan, I think that this is one of Astons better perfomances.
The film tells a story of Evans life, he had a very abusive childhood suffering from mental and sexual abuse as a child.
He discovers that he can change his terrible past by reading his journals that he wrote as a child, however he also realises that even the slightest change in the past can effect his future drastically.
In this film he shows how different events in his past could lead to different people around him being sick, him ending up in prison and many more different mishaps. He reads his journal each time to fix things until he comes up with the best solution (I cant really spoil this film as there are three very different and emotional ...
Advantages: Cool graphics and settings, great twists to story, challenging Disadvantages: Can't save options, loading up from last save on death
Fear Effect featured Motion FX for the first time ever; although you can see when the FMV loops, the backgrounds feel very much alive. A third-person adventure; the anime-style characters are well animated, but, in combat sometimes you are fighting several virtually identical enemies. Plus, picking up items can be tricky because of the camera angles; it's no surprise to see the game opt for tank-like controls - the characters do come complete with an 180-Degree Quick Turn, a highly effective evasive roll, and a Crouch Walk which allows the player to sneak up on an enemy for a Silent Kill. Also, as our playable characters are weapons experts, they are thus capable of firing double guns at different targets.
The game has its fair share of puzzles - these go beyond the find-keys-for-doors type, and though their solutions are close-by, one ...
Advantages: The best storyline I have found in a game. Its not just Oblivion with guns. Disadvantages: Texture loading issues.
Mass Effect by Bioware is one of the best action - rpg's I have ever played.
It follows Commander Shepard on a epic space adventure in order to save the galaxy, accompanied by an assortment of characters, human and alien.
There are games that claim to allow the player to choose where they want to go and that their actions have true consequences on their game. Most do not deliver on this promise. Mass Effect on the other hand delivers this in spades, explaining these in detail would ruin the truly amazing storyline as most of the choices come at pivitol points in the game, sometimes however you can make a choice which changes the game without even realising it.
* Graphics
The graphics are stunning, the game will take you to many planets, some snowcovered, others barren deserts, some tropical rainforests to name a few and they all ...
