This site is for anyone who wants to find and download almost any type of software/program for your PC's. (software for windows, Mac, mobile devises, music downloads and games).
I have been using it for what seems like an eternity now and I have never had a reason to complain about it.
The site states that all the software on the site is virus free and I have had no reason to disagree as all I have downloaded has caused no problems at all.
*HOW TO USE IT?
Simply punch in www.download.com and watch as the well designed yellow screen flashes onto your screen.
Then a vast array of software and options appear on your screen.
If you know what your looking for regarding a type of program, or even the name, then you can simply input the words in the 'Search' section at the top/middle section of the home ...

Have you been cut off half way through an important download and had to start all over again? I have on several occasions. Many ISP’s these days restrict the maximum time a user can spend online at a single time, my ISP has a limit of 2 hours. You can of course reconnect immediately but that all important download has to be started again. That is of course unless you use a download manager.
My choice is Download Mage, an excellent program which controls your downloads for you. Download managers are, for the uninitiated, are programs which can resume a download from the point at which it failed, either due to disconnection, system hang ups or simply the bandwidth becoming too clogged for the file to transfer correctly.

Download.com is part of cnet and is a very extensive and very useful site with loads and loads of software programmes and a huge selection of freware,shareware and demos. It is exceedingly easy to navigate and use and is highly recommended by this surfer.
Like a little boy with a new toy I was so delighted to have located download..com,for it truly is an incredible site for downloading software. And would you believe- it's absoltutely free!
It offers numerous downloads of software. There is Mp3 & Audio where you can download the likes of Winamp,Encoders and Limewire,Drivers and Systems Files,with system updates, and printer drivers. Interested in games ? This section includes Arcade, Adventure,Cards,Casino, and Lottery.
For web authors there are HTML editors,Site Management and Servers software whilst among Utilities ...
