Advantages: Lots of tracks all at good length of time, great mixing and choice of tunes Disadvantages: sometimes repetitive
out that has not been released by either the 'Ministry of Sound' or 'Hed Kandi?. Two labels that endlessly bring out new compilations, some of which have limited quality. But this one done by ?Resist? provides tunes that are not always commercially released or played too much on the radio, complaints that often hit the 'Ministry of Sound'.
To summerise, this compilation provides 3 disks each with 15 tracks that average the 5 minute mark each. It has some well known artist like Tiga, Audio Bullys, Mylo and Tocadisco. But it also uses relatively unheard of artists like Phatjak and Nicolas Valle who both offer great electro beats. This is a must for any clubber or electrohouse fan. And with 45 songs it is definitely value for money. ...
Advantages: Good selection of skream tracks Disadvantages: the frequencies tend to stay in the same conceptual space too often
This mix is quite a hefty run through of all the big tracks of 2007 in the world of Dub-step (which is a relatively new but ever-increasingly popular music genre). The sound is from London and the UK (which is where most of the producers on the mix come from. Next is another skream track of a remix of a garage track by dj zinc. Its got bass technical-wobbles and a sick vocal (cool). Then its Skream ...
Advantages: Some great songs, Not that expensive, Ideal for a House Party Disadvantages: CD3 and the remixing could be approved.
Some of the biggest Trance Songs to have been released are on this albumn so if you're a fan of the genre then it's probably worth a buy. If you are at a house party then this CD should go down a treat or even for when driving in the car. However I dont think CD3 is that good. CD1 is easily the best as nearly every song is great to listen too, CD2 is a little more laid back compared to CD1 but it has still got some great tracks but I feel this albumn would be better without CD3 as I barely listen to it as I feel that they are not the type you want to listen too at a party on a saturday night in my opinion. But even for CD1 and CD2 it is worth the money alone. However it doesn't have binary finary or Cafe Del Mar on it which is a shame. ...
