Advantages: a beautiful album Disadvantages: sounds very 80 's
Thanks to the people who helped me get the courage to write with my own words.LTM , the excellent label run by James Nice , that re-issue lots of lost records from almost unknoww artist like Paul Haig or Isabelle Antena , is doing a great job.
The album here sounds better than the original copy , has a nicer cover with lots of information and the cd is full of bonus , including 12" versions and B sides.
Produced by Martin Hayles (light house family ... ..., Jesusand themarychain) , it has the sound of the eighties for sure but more like the first Sade or early Everything but the girl.
Definitely a good way to dicover Isabelle Antena.
Don't overlook the american re-issue of Camino del sol , the first record Isabelle did under the name Antena. ...

The opening track brings back so many memories, can anyone else remember it being used as the opening theme to a BBC computer TV show? But the music, ah the music. I have had this album for almost ... ...try the keyboards chords in Computer Love and tell me they are not as shimmeringly beautiful as anything you have heard elsewhere. The closing tracks again use the hypnotic rhythms and treated vocals to move the tracks on leaving you wondering where the 34 minute had gone and wanting more. ...

When I saw this product advertised on the television I was so excited because I have all the gatecrasher albumns and I just loved the idea of a best of gatecrasher albumn but then you get the the idea of, is it worth buying it cos you will have most thesongs alreadyalbeit on 10 different albumns. So there is the first good point of this albumn, all the classics on one albumn that you can stick on, on a saturday night and dance away till your hearts ... ...tunes and some not so good tunes so like me I was tempted just to buy it off itunes and download the tunes I liked but at 99p each I found I like more than £9.99 worth of tunes so I bought the albumn. Theres some old time favourites and some current classics with some great remixes and with 3 cds you really do get your moneys worth.
