Advantages: Great Collecetion of easy listening techno/house classics
Disadvantages: Some of the what were classics now sound dated

Very Interesting Album - Amnesia at its finest

Advantages: Some Unknown Tracks, Very good flow

This is a very interesting album... I have been to Ibiza a few times and I am a massive trance / house fan. When i first saw this album I was not sure what to think as I didnt know most of the tracks, however that can be a very good or a very bad thing. Mmmm Underworld I Love You

Advantages: A trio of exceptional tracks and the rest are generally of high quality. Typically high Underworld production standards, even down to the inlay card. Great value at current prices.
Disadvantages: A few duller moments and it's starting to age a bit.

Underworld's 1993 debut album "Dubnobasswithmyheadman" is far deeper than their recent work and contrasts especially with some of their more famous songs. "Born Slippy Nuxx" and "King Of Snake", for example, would sound completely out of place on this deep, dark and generally ambient album. The majority of songs are composed from three simply yet highly effective elements: a deep, varied bassline, an unhurried beat, and the obscure, rambling lyrics ...
...part "Dubnobasswithmyheadman" is constructed in this manner. Take the opening track "Dark & Long", a seven-and-a-half minute epic which progresses into a low-key climax with slightly seductive vocals built around a conventional 4/4 beat pattern. It is actually quite reminiscent of their remix of Bjork's "Human Behaviour", for those who have heard it. good for bathing with

Advantages: good beats
Disadvantages: gets a little boring on disc 2

The very best of Frantic Euphoria mixed by Anne Savage and Andy Whitby, well i would not actually class is as the Very Best in my opinion, all though it is good. I listen to it rather loud when i'm having a bath and i think disc 1 is the best out of all 3. Anne savage has some very well know tunes on it. Tunes like: Zombie Nation, Darude, NRG.. etc.. The "Miles_Gurtu" experiment

Advantages: A blend of intricate beats, varied jazzy melodies and experimental soundscapes.
Disadvantages: Over-tweaking disrupts the ambience occasionally. No mainstream appeal. Some tracks don't work.

Take a Swiss-Italian ambient trance producer (Robert Miles) and blend together with an Indian percussionist (Trilok Gurtu). Add other talented musicians to the mix and allow to simmer gently, making sure you season generously with electronic sculpting and processing.
