Incunabula was the first album released by Autechre in 1993. As an interesting side note, Incunabula means "swaddling clothes" in Latin. Sean Booth and Robert Brown, a.k.a Autechre, are true masters of electronica. Much like Richard Devine, Mira Calix, Datach'i, Venetian Snares and Squarepusher, these guys expand the clichéd genres of I.D.M (Intelligent Dance Music) and electronica in general. Autechre make sounds that by rights should be emitted by the factory that built the terminatior machines. If they were making fluffy robots that bring you a cup of tea, and not Austrian-accented killing machines. Does that make any sense? Ok then, how about this: For Abstract sprawling soundscapes that seem to almost defy description in their grandiose and epic scale, that exist as they are without recourse to easy reference points or dance -cheese ...
...know when you hear something and it slots right into place in your brain, and leaves you thinking "That was wonderful - i always wondered why no-one made this sort of music before". Thats how their music made me feel. This is, insofar as it can be defined, techno, but the description does not really do it justice. Autechre's textural album. Amber is Autechre's 4th work; 2nd album. Sean Booth and Robert Brown released Incunabula back in 1993, a roaring success. This album would attract quite a following. This particular album would enrich the mathematics of Incunabula by opting for reserved and cagey rhythm structures, while expanding their sounds and textures into astronomical directions. Advantages: Excellent mixing, sampling, lyrics and blend of an album
Disadvantages: The argument of "What is Dubstep and is this it?"

Untrue is the second album by dubstep producer, Burial. But, first let's get an idea of the genre, dubstep, which, since 2006, seems to be slowly rising in popularity but still leaves most people (including myself) completely confused as to what it is. Basically, dubstep is a genre, which has its influence from the London's garage scene in early 2000 and also a drum and bass feel towards it. ...this album with others is difficult, if you're going towards the direction of Massive Attack or Boards of Canada, I would say it's a mash up between those two artists, but, simply put, Untrue is its own unique sound, and its dubstep, but if you are still unsure, who cares. ... Read review

Combichrist's genre isn't easy to define but I'll give it a shot: CC is an in-your-face mix of techno, industrial, electro, alternative music and a some serious rock'n'roll attitude. Frontman/producer Andy Laplegua is not a stranger to razorsharp perfection when it comes to producing his music. This release is no exeption to the aforementioned description! ...to destroy, both induced by the adrenaline rush you get from this strong opener. Agressive hooks, beats, basslines and some voice to match! Next up is an instrumental song called The Kill, that immediately greets you with it's pummeling bassline. No vocals, but a lot of sounds/layers/lines to keep you entertained (and moving).
