Psy-Trance Euphoria 3CD (John '00' Fleming)

Advantages: A different, new style of Trance
Disadvantages: Not to all tastes.

A good album, I bought this 3 CD set in 2008 for £15 off the net. First of all, don't expect this to be a normal Euphoria CD. Most of the music is Goa(India) derived and it is a completely new sound in terms of usual trance. Headed by John '00' Fleming and 00 db. It has a distinct Asian feel to it, which I think is rather good, but I don't think it would suit all tastes. Many of the artists I have never heard of. John Fleming gives good commentary ...

another dose of euphoria

Advantages: good tunes
Disadvantages: might not have heard of everyone

its hard to review a cd, but i own this one so i will give it a go. the music is generaly good, not all of it i have heard of i have to confess, and its more background music than the type of cd you get out for a party. Its mixed to gether quite well, fleming is a well known dj, mainly working with trance, so he was right at home here and did some top mixes. White Label Euphoria (by John 'OO' Fleming) 2CD

Advantages: Classic euphoria beats, alternative mixing.
Disadvantages: Hard to come by now

John 'OO' Fleming is a well-known DJ. This album is one of the early Euphoria's. I believe it is quite rare especially now. Anyway, I bought my 2CD set in 2007 for £4.50 of Amazon second-hand. I'm not sure they manufacture these any more, so getting this would be a challenge. I see there are ones for sale for crazy amounts of money! ...would say this compilation is not so much chilled as others are, but very refined with more of a beat to it. I would say this is an essential album for Euphoria fans and collectors. The "Miles_Gurtu" experiment

Advantages: A blend of intricate beats, varied jazzy melodies and experimental soundscapes.
Disadvantages: Over-tweaking disrupts the ambience occasionally. No mainstream appeal. Some tracks don't work.

Take a Swiss-Italian ambient trance producer (Robert Miles) and blend together with an Indian percussionist (Trilok Gurtu). Add other talented musicians to the mix and allow to simmer gently, making sure you season generously with electronic sculpting and processing. Slightly disappointed but still good

Advantages: some golden oldies
Disadvantages: alot of the tunes you will have on the older gatecrasher cds

When I saw this product advertised on the television I was so excited because I have all the gatecrasher albumns and I just loved the idea of a best of gatecrasher albumn but then you get the the idea of, is it worth buying it cos you will have most thesongs alreadyalbeit on 10 different albumns. So there is the first good point of this albumn, all the classics on one albumn that you can stick on, on a saturday night and dance away till your hearts ...

Theres some old time favourites and some current classics with some great remixes and with 3 cds you really do get your moneys worth.
