Musical Talent In A Box - Moby: Play
Review of Play - Moby by
grown_up_girlie
Advantages: Tantalises your ear buds!
Disadvantages: Probably not too everyones taste!
...who have read my Moby Play DVD review you will know that I am a massive fan of this extremely talented musician. I have purchased this particular album, 3 times since its release in 1999. This just proves what a fan I am of this highly acclaimed and powerful album that has sold over 8 million copies worldwide! I can't live without the inspirational tunes of this album! Each track means so much to me emotionally and I am about to tell you why with ... ...is of…..
…..Moby - Play (The no.1 selling album)
Please note: The CD listing is slightly different to the DVD (As I reviewed previously).
**Genre**
For those who don't know a lot about Moby's music, this CD Album is different from most mainstream chart music you would hear. It features great beats, rhythmic tempo and you can really feel yourself within the music. If I was to assign this CD album to a genre I would classify it as down tempo - ...

Experience The Prodigy Experience
Review of Experience - Prodigy (The) by
Dickie_3_quiffs
Advantages: Original, innovative, classic Prodigy
Disadvantages: Some tracks are a little lengthy with much of the same stuff
This was the debut album of The Prodigy that was released in 1992 by XL Recordings. The album is truly the groups most innovative work and many of the tracks have themes running through them that are rather random, yet kinda humerous and remind some of old adverts (Charlie - "Charlie says always tell your Mummy before going off somewhere").
The tracks can be viewed as similar in places, but on the whole they all have a distinct difference and I ... ...their tracks does give each one a distinctive memory that you will instantly associate with. I think that you will notice similar themes running through their second album - Music for the Jilted Generation - but there are sets of very different music from here on out for the Prodigy. The second album features swearing, thats not something I am particularly fond of in music, but apart from that the Prodigy have done a good job there too.
Some say ...

Keith Flint; Brat of the Band!
Review of Fat Of The Land, The - Prodigy (The) by
tonguelessghostofsin
Advantages: Aggression-fuelled dance/rock hybrid brilliance
Disadvantages: 'Serial Thrilla' and 'Fuel my fire'
After the magnificence of 'Music for the Jilted generation', The Prodigy reached a crossroads. Liam Howlett had created two genre-defining and timeless albums, packed with ingenuity and phat beats, but what next?
Howlett decided to experiment with turning up the aggression, and taking the guitar addition a step further, incorporating Keith Flint's sneering Johnny Rotten-style vocals to the beats, fusing hard dance and rock together for an album ... ...peak of British musical acts and popular culture.
The three singles lit up the British charts, with 'Firestarter' and 'Breathe' especially redefining what dance could sound like, and enticing rebellious kids in their droves.
The group themselves had redefined their image, with Flint obviously shaving and colouring his bizarre hair as well as having antisocial facial piercings to create a rather intimidating vocal and visual presence. Liam Howlett ...

Liam Howlett gives a ripping mix!
Review of Dirtchamber Sessions Vol.1 - Various Artists by
G.e.k.k.o
Advantages: A great look at the influences of The Prodigy
Disadvantages: This won't please their new commercial fans
...the pretence of 'Prodigy presents Dirtchamber Sessions Vol.1' with the idea that there would be further releases, unfortunantely the new fanbase that had heard the infamous Firestarter and Breath tracks did not seem to keen on The Prodigy showing where their musical roots originally layed when they were a little younger and showing off what music they liked off the stage. Sadly further releases had the plug pulled on them...
Look at this album as ...
