...One of the most innovative soundtrack album series ever created launches with Music From The O.C. Mix 1. Featuring hip, recent, largely indie rock tracks heard on the FOX runaway hit sensation The O.C., the album is the first of several (at least one each 2004 quarter) designed to appeal to the 9 million to 11 million mainly teen and young adult fans who watch the drama each week in the USA alone.
The cover of Music From The OC Mix 1 folds out to a poster of the cast. Additionally, Music From The OC Mix 1 features special enhancements, including CD-only access to site where the specific scene in which many of the tracks that were used can be viewed....

...Focused on television's hottest prime demographic drama (more than 10 million mainly teen and young adult fans nightly), Music From the O.C.: Mix 2 features modern rock with an indie edge.
Mix 2 builds on the success of early 2004's MIx 1, it features songs from Interpol, The Killers, Beulah, Death Cab For Cutie and Super Furry Animals, it also boasts three exclusive tracks-Jem's cover of Paul McCartney's "Maybe I'm Amazed" and Nada Surf's cover of OMD's "If You Leave," both recoreded specifically for the series, plus The Walkman's live "LIttle House of Savages." i cant think of anything else to say except buy this cd for an allround improvment on your collection wether your a fan of the show or not....
