Went to the concert in Belfast as part of his world tour before buying the album, it blew my socks off and had me bouncing of the ceiling, i rushed out after the concert to buy the album, it is the best album i own and the best tiesto has produced, some unbelievable tracks on this. I recommend the tracks sweet things and the title track elements of life, two awesome songs. I was disappointed with the In Search Of Sunrise albums before the release of this great album. All tiesto, clubbing, and dance music fans get out there and buy this track asap, you will not regret it, it is an outstanding album and if you get the chance go and see his world tour concert, it is an amazing experience.

As a huge Tiesto fan i was looking forward to the release of this album, and i was not disappointed! This album is immense, full on Euphoria that can be taken as chill out or full on dance, depending on your mood at the time. The first few tracks are very chilled, and towards the end of the album it picks up pace nicely, just as you'd expect from Tiesto. The 'Dance 4 life' track is also the longer album edit as opposed to the shorter radio edit. ... ...favourite, as this mix sounds too 'produced', there is a very one done by the man himself available on the internet.
Overall this album is immense, my personal favourite is 'sweet things' as it seems to be a step away from his usual work. Also, if you're a fan of 'In the dark' then you need to search for the Tiesto trance mix and the dirty south remix on the internet, both of which are excellent. ...

Being a big Tiesto fan I rushed out to buy this.
At first i was unimpressed, but as I listened to it again it started to grow on me.
It tends to start of slowly but then builds as you listen.
There are a few tracks that still leave me unimpressed, however, the last 3 tracks definately make up for the rest of the cd!
Luckily you get a bonus track, 'He's a Pirate' taken from the new Pirates of the Carribean film.

Although i disagree with naming the cd after possibly the best track on there. This cd is spot on.
I actually bought this cd while i was away with club 18-30.
Looking for something to chill to during the day while i was hungover and preparing myself for the next night.
This album did exactly that. Exactly what you'd expect from Tiesto, full on euphoria. Nothing to heavy, perfect to chill to.
I was also suprised and excited, when i discovered ... ...Maxi Jazz of faithless. A feauture tune from a perfect holiday. The lyrics in this track stuck in my head, as im guessing were its purpose, and nobody i spoke to could remember who it was by.
If your looking for a CD to chill with, i recommend this.
If your looking for something hard and fast, look else where. ...

Album Notes: Additional personnel: Julie Thompson, Jes, Maxi Jazz, BT, Christian Burns, Charlotte Martin (vocals). On 2007's ELEMENTS OF LIFE, club legend Tiesto offers up another set of original, dance-floor-friendly tracks. While the Dutch artist stays well within trance/house territory for most of the album, he branches into a slightly poppier sound on the pulsing "Sweet Things," which features an emotive vocal performance by Charlotte Martin, and hits a darker Underworld-like vein with the BT collaboration "Break My Fall."
