...After his appearance on I'm a celebrity Peter Andre has tried to re-launch his music carrier. Back in the early nineties he had a hit called Mysterious girl which was very poor to say the least, but when he saw the chance he tried to re-launch his carrier after the series of I’m a celebrity.
After the show he re-released Mysterious girl and has now done Insania which people were talking about as he write it whilst in the jungle. I remember all my mates singing the tune, which is rather catchy but after a while it is a bit boring.
In the jungle he made it to be a fast beat track but it was not to be as it has turned out to be slow and rather boring much like mysterious girl.
His new album is called the long road back. The album name says it all but not to truth. It is along road back, but the album is just his way of trying...

Advantages: It's Peter Gabriel Disadvantages: None come to mind
...sound to the previous tracks and song ends with the words “her father is out on in the boat riding the water Riding the waves on the sea” and as quietly it began the song ends with a bass note that fades into the distance.
The following track begins with simply with Gabriel exclaiming “Hi There” crash the sound of snare drum and more of Larry Klein funky fretless bass sound to herald the start of “Big time” which is the closest to a simple pop song on the album with it’s chorus of “Big Time” which has Jill Gabriel singing backing vocals Peter’s now ex-wife, this track was released as a single in March 1987 catalogue number Charisma PGS3 and it reached number 13 in the UK chart.
The following song is my least favourite track on the collection “We do what we are told”...

Advantages: Some true classics including Solsbury hill, Modern love and Here comes the flood and well it's PETER GABRIEL!!!!!!!! Disadvantages: Some weak songs Peter Gabriel is still adapting to a solo career so it's a varied album
...Peter Gabriel or Phill Collins the big question of the 1980's musical scene. I've always had a soft spot for Peter Gabriel myself, one of my all time favourite bands Genesis were phenomenal and after Floyd are the best progressive rock band out there. I believe that the driving force and strength of the bands success came solely from Gabriel and since first hearing my favourite Genesis album last summer Selling England by the pound I was immediately hooked into the strange and wonderful world of Genesis and Peter Gabriel.
Noticing on ciao that there is a vast empty void needing to be filled in with Peter Gabriel reviews I really had to review an album Phill Collins is taking over the site, no somebody stop him hehe. I first got into Genesis the typical Trystan method browse through my parents vast vinyl collection...
