The Nightmare Before Christmas has to be my favourite film in the world I love the animation and the way it hides a message that is plain to see throughout the film. The film tells a tail of Jack Skellington who is King of Halloween town but begins to become tired of the same old ways that he lives through every single day. He stumbles upon a new place that goes by the name of Christmas town. After finding out what Christmas town is he decides to ... ...the help of his friends and even his enemies he try to do such thing. Where as Sally the rag doll who is secretly in love with him try's to stop it.
The film is full of delights for all ages and is a true heart warming classic. However the soundtrack that accompanies the film is also amazing it includes all the songs and sounds of the movie that when listening to it takes you back to Halloween town and the joys of Christmas but this time you can ...

Advantages: A must-have for any NBC fan, amazing music, everything you'd want from a soundtrack Disadvantages: Can be hard to get hold of
As well as being my favourite film, this is also one of my favourite soundtracks. Most of Tim Burton's films have soundtrack's brilliantly composed by Danny Elfman, and this is no exception. He has composed music for Edward Scissor Hands, the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Beetlejuice, Batman and many more...
His sound is usually very Christmassy and quite magical, and this is emphasised even more as he brings about not only the darkness ... ...his music for this film.
However, I found this soundtrack very hard to get hold of, but I managed to find one in HMV, but they're not always in stock. But once you've found one, grab it. It is definately worth the £15 that I payed for it and definately gets you into the Christmas mood, or just into dark thinking. Although £15 may seem slightly high, there are a whole 20 songs, so this is definately value for money.
