Advantages: has a lot of potential, Steve Vai uses many effective and amazing effects Disadvantages: Perhaps not what you would expect from Steve Vai in parts
...This album is definately a must have first of all. The album isn't quite beyond words but it is very much amazing. You know instantly as soon as you start listening to this album that a hell of a lot of work has gone into it, but then again what do you expect when it's SteveVai, one of the most amazing composers of this day.
Tracks such as Building the Church which is first on the album are definately things to make you consider buying the album. The guitar work which has been put together is phenomenol.

Advantages: Very toned guitar riffs with loads of effects makes it spectacular Disadvantages: Can be a-bit repeatative at parts
...Stevevai is a World famous guitarist. He is American and has played guitar since he was a kidso it goes without saying that he is great at what he does.
His playing takes many different tones but they are all designed to capture the listeners emotions. This CD has a very rock feel to it but it captures lots of emotions from Love to sorrow.
Steve has been in many bands since he was a kid. This is his most recent album with his band"steveVai"
Guitar/Vocals: stevevai
Bass/Vocals: Billy Sheehan

The band really work together producing one of the best linups yet.
This CD is great. Its like a guitar solo as a song a purely great peice of musical talent and a must have for all guitar players.
The starting song "building the Church" is a great opener...
