...before this one. The Emancipation of Mimi has blasted Mariah back as a credible artist. It has a fresh sexy take on Mariah's identity as a recording artist and style of music. She has reconnected with modern day music. With the usual healthy dose of bad boy rappers, wooey Mariah notes and less of the slower ballad tunes, the thing that gives this album that extra bling is those more dancey tunes with a more upbeat tempo with occasional heavy bass ...
...the modern times of RnB. This time, Mariah has really listened to what her audience wants and has delivered. My favourite tunes are more club-esque: "It's Like That" (the HUGE hit), "Say Something" featuring Snoop Dogg and "To The Floor" featuring Nelly. A good album to listen to if you're getting ready for a big night out or if you are walking down the street with a shake in your booty. ... Read review
