The emancipation of Mimi- 2005

This single surprised Mariah Carey fans as it was gripping and instantly I knew I had to buy it.
R&B is its genre and lots of my friends loved this album as it seriously was too good to be true.
With her remarkable voice, she has released her most focused record in over a decade.
Carey opens the album by exhibiting some of the most sincerely soulful vocals of her career on the one-two punch of the up-tempo "It's Like That" and the beautiful ballad "We Belong Together." Her able voice expertly complements both the hazy hip-hop of Snoop Dogg on "Say Somethin'" and the acrobatics of Twista on the dream-like "One and Only." In her early years

This song is so good, and it instantly makes you want to dance. It was in its right place as the first track as it starts you off wanting to listen to more.

Track 2- We Belong Together

This song is my favourite as it so sweet and the words are so touching. We belong together, was a 'thumbs up' when I first heard and I knew instantly that id love her album. The nest day I really wanted to learn it off by heart. Her singing in this song is so beautiful.

This song as absolutely wonderful and in my opinion it is done to perfection.

This song really does show what love relationships can be like. The song is about not wanting someone anymore.

This song is quite but I didn't enjoy that much. I didn't mind listening to it but it didn't have this attachment like other songs.

This song was aright, the word were quite fastidious. I only listened to this song when I was in a calm mood or I just wanted to chill.

This song has the sweetest tune in this song. I really like this song as it is calming and soothing.
It is about needing someone and people can relate it to their love lives and relationships.

I like this song and it so excellent. I remember having my work experience and every time this song came up it made laugh because of the words. It is a really enjoyable song.
I came up so much in my work experience that I learned it off by heart.

I give this song 7/ 10 as it made me laugh and I could appreciate it when I was in my 2 week work experience.

This song has a slow and soft touch to it. I hear this song a lot when shopping and it seems like it is a fave to many Mariah Carey fans.

This song was really touching when I first heard it. I really liked the words and in my opinion it was sung so beautifully.

This song is really good, but out of all the songs I didn't really like it that much. it didn't suit my taste in R&B

Joy ride is a very exciting song and I really enjoyed when I listened to it.

TRACK 12- FLY LIKE A BIRD
This song is one of the best songs to end the album. She really chose well. I enjoyed this song as it spoke about Jesus and the power and beauty of god. This song really did surprise me as the words were so beautiful.
The words 'carry me higher' are my favourite words in the song.
