Advantages: Powerful song structure and the voice of an angel. Disadvantages: Eventually, it comes to an end.
...It was the song 'Hallelujah' (a cover of a Leonard Cohen song / poem) that originally got me into Jeff Buckley. Since then, I have musically fallen in love with all of Jeff's music.
'Grace' was the only studio album brought out by Jeff himself, who was the only son of cult folk singer / songwriter Tim Buckley. Jeff was determined not to be simply a sum of all of his creative influences (including The Smiths, Led Zeppelin, and NinaSimone), but wanted to create his own unique style, and this breathtaking fusion is present on 'Grace'. From the moving 'Mojo Pin' to the emotion of 'Lilac Wine', and from the heartfelt sigh at the beginning of 'Hallelujah' to the philosophical questions of 'Eternal Life', the album is perfect.

Advantages: A great Selection of Miss Nina's songs Disadvantages: Doesn't inclde the song "Mr Bojangles"
...This is almost the perfect NinaSimone album. It's perfection is tarnished by the fact that it doesn't include the song "Mr Bojangles. Luckily, the plethora of other songs can nearly make up for this. The album features the well known songs such as Felling Good, My Baby Just Cares for Me and I put a spell on you. The Album incorporates the pleasing vocals as well as many of the instrumental sections of her songs. Not only does NinaSimone Gold feature Miss Nina's songs as we are accustomed to them, it also provides some at first surprising but interesting remixes of Feeling Good and See Line Woman. In addition NinaSimone Gold feature some of the less common songs such as Tell Me More And More And Then Some, One September Day and I'm Going Back Home.
NinaSimone Gold is not just for fans, it's for anyone that likes good music...

"Whole Lotta Love" was based on a Willie Dixon song "You Need Love". Robert Plant emerged as the groups lyricist with the dreamy "What Is And What Should Never Be", and the love song "Thank You" and the Tolkien inspired "Ramble On". Moby Dick is one of the few listenable drum solos ever recorded. 'Livin Lover Maid' is a good rock song but not one of the groups favourites. Heartbreaker is one of Page's greatest guitar works....
