Advantages: Light, upbeat music. Disadvantages: One track that almost destroys the mood set by the rest of the album.
...John Mayer- Room for Squares
This album is beautiful. The slow easy going songs give you a warm feeling in side, as do the gently uplifting songs. I personally use it as background music when im doing something else, although it easily stands up to being listened to with all your attention.

There are hints of the drug in which he was deeply immersed and changing music culture where he admits that he is no longer young. There are a number of references to religious themes. There has always been a half-admitted acceptance that the songs are autobiographical. The arrangements are generally full featured and complex (at times the backing track almost sounding like a mini-orchestra)
He is accompanied by John ‘Rabbit’ Bundrick on keyboards and Pete Hope-Evans on Harmonica – both of whom have appeared with him in recent live concerts. There are no less than four drummers used including Kenny Jones and Simon Phillips.
