Advantages: every song Disadvantages: takes a few listens
...upbeat, are more latin, vallenato, cumbia, and even (according to the man himself) mapalé-influenced, such as Gotas de Agua Dulce, Tres, and Bailala, as Juanes is no longer trying to imitate american or british rock in his own language, but firmly a Colombian superstar. After seeing this man live in concert, I cannot fail to, at least briefly mention the songs Clase de Amor, No Creo EnEl Jamas, and Bandera de Manos, all which went down a storm with the crowd, and my personal favourite on the night (very surprisingly for me, as I had after a couple of listens, dismissed it as 'the filler'), the anthemic Difícil. (Quiero gritaaaaaaaaaaaar just sounds brilliant live).
Learn Spanish. Go to Colombia. See this guy in concert. If you can't do all those, at least buy this!...

Advantages: A brilliant performance from the Gentleman of rock Disadvantages: You'll need to order it
...One night in April 1998, Justin Hayward and his band performed a concert before a packed house at The CoachHouse Theatre in SanJuan Capistrano, California. This DVD is the video recording of that concert in its entirety with (as the sleeve note says) ’nothing edited out’.

Advantages: tuneful rock with a latin flavour Disadvantages: all the lyrics are in spanish
...Juanes delivers the most fiesty, danceable rock you've ever heard. He's a Columbian rock star who's huge all over Latin America and Europe, and deservedly so. 'Un dia normal' (I don't think that needs a translation) is his second album, and a really good place to start. The first track, 'A Dios le pido' is a prayer full of the joy of life. There are a couple of beautiful ballads ('fotographia' with Nelly Furtado is a gentle song about missing someone) and some forgettable ones ('Es por ti...
