Advantages: Lively, original and " funky fresssh "...
Disadvantages: i wouldn't actually call it sergio mendez, due to the fact that, Will.i.am from the black eyed pea's features in over half of the songs !!!

...I bought this album for £9.99 from my local Tescos not acctually knowing what i was buying. at this momment in time, music is no longer music, its it is has just gotten to a stage where men sing about there sex lives with with live big asses, and woman sing about how there men leave them for women with better asses than themselves, but when an album as orginal as Sergio Mendez's you can't help but think, thank god there is acctually someone out there who cares and thinks about what he's singing about...when you listen to his music, you can just feel that he thinks long and hard about the words he's bringing across. Advantages: A great mix of latin tunes

...Sara shows to be a very talented contemporary singer/song writer, which has managed to combine contemporary music with her African roots. She is accompanied by Theo Pas'cal (one of Portugal's greatest Afro/jazz bass players), producer and composer of her songs also playing bass drums, Paulo Sérgio on piano and Orlanda Guilande on backing vocals and percussion. All the messages are about self-esteem and loving yourself, Sara Tavares' sweet voice and gentle arrangements communicate this meaning even if you cannot understand all of the lyrics. I think Fans of Norah Jones will be thrilled at Sara Tavares's warm, jazzy vocals.
