As i said before Russell was born in Salford in Greater Manchester and was born on th 24 november 1974. Russell was just a child when he first decovered that he could carry a tune but it wasnt before he fell upon hard times. His full time job was a bolt-cutter but with a wife and two young girls ... ...opera singer by accident. Encore is the second of his albums the first being called The Voice and between both of them they have sold over three million copies. So there is luck for some of us singers yet get down the pub and on that karcoke. Encore was released in September 2001.

Russell Watson has made a great CD here. I am not a classical music fan and only bought this CD for one song that was on it. I must say that I have been very plesantly suprised by the content.
The CD contains 16 tracks which are:-

Track 16, Where my heart will take me is the real reason for buying this as me and my husband both liked the song after watching the series Enterprise and then we say Russell perform this at the opening ceremony for the Manchester Commonwealth Games and it really did just blow us away.
I find that Lulu and Lionel Ritchie would seem quite odd ...
