Advantages: Hip Hop remixes are all bangers
Disadvantages: Electronica tracks are terrible

"Call and Response" is a remix album from Maroon 5, released in 2008. It has them use material from their first two records, "Songs About Jane" and "It Won't Be Soon Before Long", and get both Hip Hop and Electronica producers and vocal performers to do what they can with the material, and interpret in the way which their genre sees fit. The Alternative Rock band, led by Adam Levine, give complete control to the guests. 1. "If I Never See Your Face Again" (feat. Cross and Swizz Beatz) To get things going, you get a banger of a cut as Cross (who I hadn't heard of) does a rap, before Swizzy drops a classic cut (used in Missy Elliot's "Work It", Run-D.M.C.'s "Peter Piper" and World Class Wreckin' Cru's "Cabbage Patch", it is my favourite break of all time, and worked very well with the track which they used. Review of Call And Response (The Remix Album) - Maroon 5

The End or the Beginning?

Advantages: Complex characters, interesting themes and plot, realistic emotions
Disadvantages: None really

"The End of the Affair" is the last of Greene's so-called major Catholic novels - it explores the theme of love - love for self, love for another and love of God - and the themes of hate and guilt. All of these emotions are commonly felt throughout an affair but are also major parts of the Catholic Faith. The novel is said to be based on an affair Greene had during the war and the characters of Bendrix and Sarah are loosely based on Greene and his lover. "The End of the Affair" has been adapted into a film twice in 1955 and 1999. Greene's novels tend to work well on screen. Having seen the second adaptation, I found it quite true to the book and thought the actors were well cast. The novel is set in 1940's London - during and after WWII. The Big Bum remix

Advantages: A danceable collection
Disadvantages: One really naff track

This is my first album review so any criticisms or advice will be greatly appreciated. I decided to review J to tha Lo – the Remixes, an album by Miss Big Butt herself, Jennifer Lopez, as it is one of the CD’s in our house that gets a lot of play time.
