JoeSatriani - also known as SATCH. JoeSatriani was born in Westbury, New York, and began playing guitar at age 14. Joe has 10 CD's so far (not counting the bootlegs). He started off with 'Not of this Earth' and his latest work is 'Engines of creation'.
I rate this guitarist very highly. I had the pleasure of watching him at a Concert in London some years ago. It was around the time he was about to release the extremist. Anyway this guitar hero can really hammer out amazing riffs. He does some really weird sounds (not sure how), he seems to be tapping the frets.
His albums collections are very varied ranging from Blues, rock and love songs. My favourite is when JoeSatriani teamed up with Eric Johnson and Steve Vai in G3 Live. What guitar work.
