Advantages: Relaxing story telling music with a bit of heart Disadvantages: Too boring
...OK album, with a nice mix of different artist most of which i have never hear of before. As you can probably tell I'm not usually into this kind of music but being someone always looking to expand my musical horizons, I thought i would give it a go but was not too impressed.
Most of the songs featured were not too impressive, many of which sounded very boring and generic for the genre.
Track 15, Green Fields of France - Furey & Davey Arthur was probably one of the most impressive tracks on the album; this song featured delicately sung lyrics and an impressive story which i think is based on world war 2. Some of the other tracks were almost up to this standard but were too boring and didn't catch my attention....

14. Hark The Herald Angles Sing | Various (0.40)
‘Why do Jews sing the Dreidal song?’
Although it says this is sung by the South Park choir it is lifted from Season 3’s Christmas Special ‘Merry Christmas Charlie Manson’ and is sung by the boys (not Kenny, he’s dead by then) and the entire Cartman family. All out of key obviously, but worth a listen.
15. Dreidal, Dreidal, Dreidal | Kyle, Cartman, Stan, Sheila and Gerald Broflofski (3.20)
‘Courtney Cox I love you you’re so hot on that show’
A great number from a good range of cast. Strating with just Kyle it builds up to include all of them singing (mostly) all things Driedal-like. A good beat with the piano accompanies most of the song with the a few wind instruments and drums coming in a the end to build up to a satisfying climax.

Advantages: Good Songs, No Fillers Disadvantages: Old Songs in a New Package
...This album includes all the usual festive classics that you expect to hear droning from every department store and supermarket as from the middle of October every year. The up side to this album is that they haven't padded out the track list with lesser known songs which is great if you don't like having to keep skipping tracks. The downside is that there aren't many modern songs on here which is a shame given that this is a pretty modern release. The only up-to-date track is "Santa Baby" by Kylie Minogue and even that is simply a re-recording of a classic Christmas hit! The rest of the album consists of the usual festive tracks like "Do They Know It's Christmas?" by Band Aid and "Mistletoe and Wine" by Cliff Richard.
