Advantages: Great songs, lyrics Disadvantages: none; try it!
...A perfect mix of jazz and sophisticated rock, played with consummate skill by all the band members. This is what it's all about! Memorable tracks such as 'Be Still My Beating Heart' and 'This Lazarus Heart' leave you gasping at the musicianship and humming the melody for days! Branford Marsalis is much in evidence throughout, a sublime jazz player flexing his 'fusion' muscles. 'They Dance Alone' is timeless.. a wonderful song, marvellous playing by all, politically correct and a wonderful double-time samba outro.. 'An Englishman In New York', Sting's tribute to Quentin Crisp is also a highlight; the song has more twists and turns than a grand prix circuit! After The Police, this is the direction I hoped he would take. This album is marvellous - may he never dance alone!...

Advantages: relaxing, easy listening compilation Disadvantages: a few of the oldies aren't on it
...If you want to buya "greatest hits" of Sting CD then I'd strongly recommend this is the one you go for, In my opinion it really does include all his greatest hits both past and present. The old classics are all there: Englishman in New York, Fragile etc.. but it also contains come newer contemporary songs such as it's probably me and seven days. This really is a "feel good" album, I always put it on to relax at the end of a hard day, the floating memories and easy chord changes all make for a great listening experience, and I would also go so far as to say that Sting has one of the most remarkable and unusual voices in music today. A real classic for the colleciton...

Advantages: Classic Disadvantages: the last track spoiled it for me
...It is not often that the title accurately describes the album, but in this case it does. This is a must have for anyone who likes Sting or the Police. Classic tracks abound on this one, many taken me back to when I was knee high to a grasshopper and wasted evenings by hanging around the park and trying to be cool.
Well the album has 18 tracks - of which 17 are by either Sting or the Police and the final one being a Puff Daddy remix, which personally does nothing for me, but I can understand why they put it on the album.
The tracks are:
1. Message in a bottle
2. Can't stand losing you
3. Englishman in new york
4. Every breath you take
5. Seven days
6. Walking on the moon
7. Field of Gold
8. Fragile
9. Every little thing she does is magic
10. De do do do, de da da da
11. If you love somebody set them free
12. Let you soul be you...
