Advantages: Every song is great. Disadvantages: Not much really.

When you buy an album its probably quite rare that you will like every single song, but with this one, in my opinion, every single song is worth ... ...mixture of up tempo and slow songs to put you in all sorts of moods. Advantages: What a voice! That's MOrrison's voice and the music just follow the voice Disadvantages: To short.
...album he recorded is "ASTRAL WEEK" less than 2 days after arrival in NYC.
Only 8 songs but you can feel all the soul of his colored voice. His work between Blues/Jazz/Folk is superb, thereis a continuity all along the album but songs like "Astral Weeks", "Cyprus Avenue" or the poignant and so lovely story-in-a-song "Madame George" 9:25 totally pure where voice and music are so close...
Year by year this album has become a timeless classic so let the music play for this magnific album...
If you are interesting in VanMorrison's album I can advice : "Avalon Sunset" and "Enlightenment"......
