...I ABSOLUTELY ADORE Eros Ramazzotti! As long as i can remember i had a "thing" for him. He is the only man i would ditch my fiance for! lol Apart from the fact that he is a totally stunning man, his music is just gorgeous. A few years ago i saw him live in concert. On a hill overlooking the city of Salzburg in Austria. What an experience it was.....the rain was pourring down that evening but Eros made up for it with a fabulous performance. Eros is specialising in "Italian & Latin Rock Music". The album "MUSICA E" is one of his first albums. It is the first album of Eros that has been translated into Spanish for the latin americans. It's a strong collection of ballads and rockers that sold millions and created a place for Eurorock, a genre that can best be defined by referring to the music of Bryan Adams, for example... That being Nutbush City Limits. That by no means should take away the style that she brings to whatever she sings. Her unique voice makes her recognisable almost instantly. Only Anastasia is close to her style. My opinion of her is that she is a phenomenal woman who overcame a horrendous start to her music career. Having been found by Ike Turner and taken under his wing. They became one of the top duos of their time. ...For a band that have found their way onto numerous movie soundtracks over the last couple of years, as well as releasing a fine debut album ‘Camino Palermo’, The Calling remain largely unheard of by the majority of people that I speak to. Despite having an assortment of back-up musicians at their live shows, the band is simply made up of vocalist Alex Band and the multi talented Aaron Kamin. The thing that I find hard to stomach is that I have heard (and read) many people compare them to Nickelback, whereas the music that the two respective bands make is far from alike. Where as Nickelback make a brand of rock so dated it’s untrue, The Calling are a hard-working, honest band that make majestic melodic rock that will brighten the blackest heart. 2002 saw the release of their debut album ‘Camino Palermo’.
