I must admit i did not buy the first album but i had the chance to listen to it via a friend. His music has changed from traditional (spanishy) music to a rocky upbeat sound. In my opinion it is for the better. He began with Balimos which is spanish, almost flamenco style which makes you want to dance but this new album has a bigger range of music from the well know first release of Hero, a ballad to Escape, a sexier upbeat song. Enrique Iglesias has a really unique cover to the album. it has a half faced picture of him which that concentrating/sexy look he often uses. It made my knees wobble if not anyone elses. The title however is quite small and hard to read but i assume that is so Enrique Iglesias' face is not spoiled.
1. Escape - A sing a long song which gradually introduces a beat to wiggle your backside too. 2. Don't Turn Off The Lights 3. Love To See You Cry 4. Hero - Soppy, romance, perfect for a quiet night in. 5. I Will Survive - Quite powerful as the title suggests, it promotes carryign on. Great song. 6. Love 4 Fun - I don't like this as it's not got a beat i can tap to. I can't seem to learn the words unfornately it's the only one i skip. 7. Maybe 8. One Night Stand - Not what i expected from the "virgin" but much like britney spears it's a rant. Though nothing like Britney. 9. She Be The One - Very typical. Nice soft song. Can't explain it in words. 10.If The World Crashes 11.Escape (Spanish) - As above but it does sound strange in spanish as the tunes the same but the words are spanish (obviously) A good way to learn spanish though don't say to spanish tourists. They may think you're barmy when you tell them to "run, hide and they can't escape your love" 12.Don't Turn Off The Lights (Spanish)- As above 13.Hero (Spanish) -As above. My favourite spanish version though, very summer romancy.
Sorry i haven't reviewed all of the above. I hope i have added enough detail as this is my second post. Please contact me with suggestions. Thanks.

Much better than the first. Just alittle more info for VH. I hope you dont mind me saying that if you go back and update your first op and ask people to re-read, your rating will go up. Hope this helps.

It would definately be worth you saying a bit about each track. Thats what makes a V.H op! SEB

not bad but going into a bit detail and such would help. steve
If Ricky Martin is the party boy of Latin crossover pop, Enrique Iglesias is a romantic ... more
traditionalist in the mould of his dad. OnEscape, even his up-tempo, lust-driven tunes such as "Love 4 Fun" and "One Night Stand" are hardly the frantic sweat-fests...
