Esoteric Escape - Keser

Advantages: A good Album, many enjoyable tracks, good VFM
Disadvantages: A different sound to previous albums

...Enrique Iglesias released his new album, Escape, earlier this year. It’s a good album, but be warned, its not like his previous albums, with their Spanish sounds. Enrique is a fan of rock which is reflected in this album. This album has more of a guitar sound to it. But of course, it wouldn’t be Enrique without a good ballad, which is why the single ‘Hero’ is at home on the album. So, let me take you through Mr. Iglesias latest offering ESCAPE 3:28 “You can run, you can hide, but you can’t escape my love” A great pop song with a rocky feel and a good twangy electric guitar. This songs a winner as a single, as its catchy and enjoyable to sing along with. No boring bits in this song, and no cringe-worthy lyrics. A good chorus. Advantages: Brilliant combination of tunes, from up-beat to ballads.

...When I bought this album I wouldn't really have called myself an Enrique Iglesias fan. However after listening to what "Escape" has to offer, I was pleasently suprised and am now a huge fan Enrique fan. The first song I heard of his was "Bailamos",which was released in 1999, and means "We dance" in English, and I absolutely loved it. It is still one of my favourite songs because it's really holiday-esque, and typically spanish with the spanish guitar and some spanish lyrics. So after hearing this and his massive hit "Hero" which was released a few years later I thought I'd give this album a try. I used to listen to it when I first had it, and then recently got it out again, and it has been in my CD player ever since. By re-listening to it, I realised just what a great album it is, so thought I'd let you know all about it... Read review

Advantages: Thank God Akon features in the title song
Disadvantages: All the songs are rubbish, no variety.

I don’t know whether it is my taste of music but this album is complete nonsense. All the songs sound the same and I don’t believe how people can say she really has talent. I would love to know her as a person because she seems so jolly and bubbly, but her songs are terrible. This is probably the worst album I have got and hopefully the worst one I will ever hear!!! Amazingly enough, the first two songs are the best on the album. Wind It Up is strange but kind of good. I’d give that 5... Read review
