Advantages: Beautiful and atmospheric Disadvantages: Too short and not for everybody
...of classical with occasionally a bit of folk and sometimes some (very) soft rock, all depending on the artist(s)/composer(s). This isn't necessarily what it is, but I feel it's a good way to give you an impression of what Celticmusic is.
This album consists of what is dubbed as "The Celtic Collection". I don't really know any other Celticmusic other than what's on this album so this may be some of the best Celtic tracks every composed. It is a compilation of some truly impressive tunes from some great artists.
THE TRACKS
1 - James Galway & Phil Coulter - Callin Na Gruaige Baine - The intro to the album is a slow, calm, with quite strings and some calm but good singing. As the title suggests, this isn't in English but that adds to the effect. What you'll find is that some of the better tracks are those that don't have English lyrics...

Advantages: Scottish, celtic niche, very pleasant Disadvantages: band seems to be always falling out
...style of melodic Power Metal and antiquity. However, the band planned to take an additional novel approach in their musical style by incorporating Celtic. With a firm objective in mind and a real sense of direction the bands plans as quote, "are to spread the word, music & glory of the Scottish Highlands!" Two years later saw the release of the Highland Glory debut album From The Cradle To The Brave.

Advantages: Classier | Cerys' voice | Better lyrics Disadvantages: Not as easy to get into as other albums
..., with a feeling of optimism ‘We could be the first to cross the line’. The song builds up towards the end from a relatively slow start to bring a nice end to the album.
Paper, Scissors, Stone is defiantly more focused than Equally Cursed and Blessed. It also has proved that the break has done Catatonia good. This album has the simple sounds of Way Beyond Blue but in terms of lyrics Catatonia have reached new heights. Catatonia have acquired new maturity with their lyrics this time, giving each song a theme of its own, and by picking bits out you can relate it to their personal experiences on more than one occasion.
There are few downsides to the album, it lasts a good while and each song is excellent in its own right, not one is noticeably weak. However this album is not as easily accessible as the others and may take a few...
