...Twisted was released in 1995 and since that day has been one of the most loved, most listened to and most comforting cds in my collection. I think that anyone who really likes music wants to find that one special band, that one particular sound that makes everything seem just that little bit easier when you hear it. For me, Del Amitri is that band. I listen to their music and for that time i feel uplifted, happy, relaxed, comfortable and more to the point, content with the fact that i am listening to some very accomplished musicians. And so, to Twisted, i would say, in my opinion, this is their best known album. Certainly amongst people i know anyway. I also know someone who claims to hate Del Amitri and yet even he admits to liking 3 of the songs on this album, which i think speaks volumes in respect of this being a very fine album... ...Well i'm back reviewing the Cafe del mar series as promised, this time I am dealing with volume 3. This cd was put together during the summer of 1996, in Ibiza at the Cafe del mar, Which for any one that doesn't know, is a world famous cafe-cum-club known for its chill-out themes and generally having a nice time, relaxing and being relaxed. Its a haven for taking time out at, and many a clubber would have visited here during their stay in Ibiza. As you have come to expect, there is a wide mix of music on these cd's, on this volume though, there is nothing wildly different, the tracks seem to flow into one another, Im not sure if this realy works, all the other compilations have something different on them that wakes you up and makes you sit up and listen, but here there is none of that, you realy could fall to sleep listening... Hoy os voy a hablar sobre el último disco que ha sacado al mercado este grupo sueco que es, sin duda, el mejor grupo de Suecia después del éxito multitudinario que tuvo ABBA. Este grupo de origen sueco nació en 1986 con su primer disco que fue "Pearls of Passion". No fue un éxito de ventas en su propio país y en países cercanos (en España no salió a la venta este disco y las canciones que incluía las grabó y utilizó Per Gessle en un disco que lanzó en solitario. Las canciones las grabó para este primer disco de Roxette con la cantante Marie Fredriksson. Después de este disco vinó otro disco más y llegó el tercero que se vendió en toda Europa como churros, si me permitís la licencia de decirlo así; ese disco fue Look Sharp! en el año 1989.
