As another reviewer said and i feel it is a good point, it is a bit strange reviewing a compilation CD that is just a review of the best bands of last year voted for by NME. However it is a great compilation and includes some of the greatest songs and bands of last year For example Razorlight- America Snow patrol chasing- Cars Bloc Part- Here we are Etc SO this would make a great present if you do not know what to get someone as most people will like at least some of the songs on there i do and this music is not really my favorite type and NME being a popular music magazines it will be most likely there will appreciate.

This is one of those albums that you can just put on and listen all the way through and just chill and enjoy the most popular music of last year which i think has been the best year for new bands. The Arctic monkeys when sun goes down is absolutely amazing and i must credit them for been and exceptional good band when live. The other great thin about this CD is that the lesser known bands are on here too, which i think is great as when i used to be in a band any good review was a bonus and being on an NME compilation must be astonishing for them and a great boost for this year. A few of these have played at a local night club and arena near where i live and i know a lot of people that have been to see these bands and have seen them in different city's and there all said that they have been great live band such the Fratelies Arctic monkeys and Razorlight
For value for money i think this album is right at the top you get 40 songs, and all the tracks are great and as i said it features the best bands of last year, so if your a bargain hunter this album is for you.
