...well i think this cd is brilliant its very uplifting and joyfull, when i listen to it the joy of jesus just comes on me, the songs are mixed but all with a celtic backround and its diffrent artists and some of the songs you will proberbly reconise from church, even them or played with a celtic backround, the artists on it include kathren scot, robin mark, sheila walsh,, the actually producer of the cd is Don Moen. even the songs that i didnt know on this cd i just enjoyed straight away. its not one of them that you have to listen to a few time to know wether you like it or not, anyone that like lively music that just refreshes you will love this cd. It realy has helped cheer me up when i have been a abit down. And it only cost me a fiver brand new form the book shop (what a bargin)...

...Richard Shindell gets better and better. His last album, "Reunion Hill," was spectacular, and I bought this album quite worried that he was going to be falling apart on it, as so few artists manage to follow up good albums well. Shindell managed to surprise me, though, in putting together what is without a doubt the best new album I have purchased in the past three years. The songs on this album have an amazing variety of mood and style, ranging from rock (Confession) to traditional folk (Calling the Moon) to a brief little Celtic piece (Spring). The lyrics are astounding, particularly in "Transit," the standout track on the album, and the one that the title image comes from. Advantages: Beautiful and atmospheric Disadvantages: Too short and not for everybody
...of classical with occasionally a bit of folk and sometimes some (very) soft rock, all depending on the artist(s)/composer(s). This isn't necessarily what it is, but I feel it's a good way to give you an impression of what Celtic music is.
This album consists of what is dubbed as "The Celtic Collection". I don't really know any other Celtic music other than what's on this album so this may be some of the best Celtic tracks every composed. It is a compilation of some truly impressive tunes from some great artists.
THE TRACKS
1 - James Galway & Phil Coulter - Callin Na Gruaige Baine - The intro to the album is a slow, calm, with quite strings and some calm but good singing. As the title suggests, this isn't in English but that adds to the effect. What you'll find is that some of the better tracks are those that don't have English lyrics. One...
