Disadvantages: can be pricey for the newer editions

I am going to review one of the older books as Judith Miller brings one of these books out every year. She also brings out an antiques price guide annually aswell the paticualar one I am using as reference is the 1997 to 1998 version. Judith miller and her team go round different auction houses and photograph items that are worth a fair bit. A lot of these things are modern day collectables, starting from the later end of the 19th century up to present day. each page has photos of the items which include a price, ie valuers estimate, say as £25-£40 If you go to car boots or flea markets it would be a good idea to look through one of these books, and get an idea of whats worth something amd what's it not. The Glenn Miller Orchestra UK was founded by Ray McVay in the 80's . This was done after talks with the Glenn Miller Estate, who had listened to many of Ray McVay's tracks. Who is Ray McVay? Ray McVay was born in the late 30's in Scotland. He became a professional musician at the tender age of 13 as a rocking sax player. In the 50's he became a music director for many big names such as Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Conway Twitty and Billy Fury. As Rays name got bigger and better known in the music industry, and fronted his own show band known as the Ray McVay Orchestra. He started to play for the Mecca Organization playing around the country before headlining at Mecca's big venue, the Lyceum Ballroom in London's west end.. Essential R & B - The love collection

Advantages: Nice collection
Disadvantages: Not a love collection, just good R & B

The essential R & B collection is a good complilation but I wouldnt necessarily call it a love collection.Its the kind of cd to listen to when ironing or driving.Some songs obviously suit the title,love collection and this includes NSYNC,Wayne Wonder,Aaliyah,Alicia Keys,Toni Braxton among others.But Eamon with F**k It? Other songs like R Kelly's hands of time are for reminiscing the good old times and what could have been not whats happening at the moment.Maybe if the songs could have been numbered differently it could have made a difference with the love songs in one cd and the others in the next.Its a good mix of the old and the new with Justin Timberlake,Warren G,2 pac and Dr Dre but I wouldnt consider it when planning a cosy night in.Nice collection though. ...
