I went to Arnold Clark to buy my first car and was very pleased with the service i recieved from the sales staff, i spoke to 4 different people and all were helpfull and friendly.
I signed up for a used 55 reg Ford Focus, which i recieved a great deal including 6% finance including 12 months warrenty, 6months MOT and 12 months autocare mechanical warrenty (which i later found out i was paying for and they weren't free as i was lead to believe)
I picked the car up on tuesday and drove it home and then found that the bonnet would not open, I phoned them up and was told i wouldn't be able to take it back until Saturday, my dad then phoned and i was told to take it back immediatley. I dealt with the servicing manager Ian (who you would assume would look after customers to his best ability.... wrong!)
It then took until ...

if you buy a car from arnold clark beware less than a week after buying a new car from them i had to take it back because all four tyres leaked air until they where nearly flat in under a week also noticed lots of hidden scratches. when i took it back i was told i had to buy new tyres myself and to t cut the scratches myself if that was not bad enough when it came to my first service which i paid for in advance they pulled of the exuast heet shield and put it in the bin without replacing it and tryed to charge me for it then they said the brakes where worn out and all had to be replaced which would cost £400 pound. also they steel parts of your car if it is under the manufationers warranty i know this because the day after the service my car broke down and had to be towed so i towed it to vauxhall who said the ignition coil had been ...

Album Notes
Includes liner notes by Edward Morris. Digitally remastered by Benny Quinn (Masterfonics, Inc., Nashville, Tennessee). This is part of RCA's Essential Series. By the post-World War II era, American culture was sufficiently homogenized that distinctions between musical genres had blurred considerably. The cross-pollination of country and pop music was especially profound. Bing Crosby, the Lennon Sisters, and Tony Bennett are just a few of the crooners who mined the country repertoire for hits. On the other end of the equation, smooth-voiced Southerners like Red Foley and Jim Reeves adopted pop's polished arrangements and vocal style, yielding tremendous commercial success. Eddy Arnold was undoubtedly the most successful of these crossover acts; indeed, with an astonishing 128 chart singles between 1946 and 1982, Arnold can justly be considered country's most successful act ever. No single disc can fairly encapsulate so long and successful a career, but THE ESSENTIAL EDDY ARNOLD comes close enough to appease casual fans. Many of Arnold's signature songs, including "Make the World Go Away," "Cattle Call," and "Don't Rob Another Man's Castle," appear here, although not always in their original form. Many, in fact, are gussied-up album-version re-recordings of earlier hits. Still, short of Bear Family's exhaustive and expensive multidisc box set THE TENNESSEE PLOWBOY AND HIS GUITAR, ESSENTIAL is the best available overview of this country legend.
