Advantages: Easy to watch and an array of well known actors Disadvantages: It isn't the most interesting film you'll ever watch
I bought the familystone for one reason only and that was because the cast was a mix of well known faces! I know I should look for more than this but, being a Sex and the City fan I am always keen to watch anything with Sarah Jessica Parker in! Along with a variety of others who I have seen in other films and enjoyed then it was surely to be a winner wasn't it?

The story:
The stonefamily are very close knit and celebrate Christmas together every year. When the favourite son, Everett, decides to bring his girlfriend Meredith with him to meet his family it doesn't quite go to plan! He has plans to ask his mother for his grandmother's ring to propose to Meredith but, his family pretty much take an instant dislike to her and find Meredith to be too uptight ...

Plot:
The StoneFamily prepares to the Christmas. As every year, they call all their family members together. Kelly is family chief and he have wife named Sybil. Also they have many sons, mostly sons. Because Sybil wanted, that all their sons are gays, but everything didn't go as planned. Anyway they also have one grandchild named Amy. When Stonesfamily eldest son, brings his fiancée Meredith to meet a family, everything get out of the control ...

In 1969 came the fourth album from Sly & The FamilyStone, ?Stand!?. It was seen as an advancement from the Psychedelic Soul, Rock and Funk band as one which had them really break through into the mainstream with songs which reached out even further than before. The impact of its release is evident in how it continues to be brought back in the Hip Hop and R&B world.

The album begins to the band coming with a warming song which has them getting right down to the issues which have influenced them to create this project here as they come with one which has them taking of how people have to take action in their lives to speak on behalf of their representative communities at a very relevant time. As with many of this time, it takes a while to get to the most impactful material and at the end they bring in the Funk.
