...on Thanksgiving Day by getting up on to a stool and playing the piano. Growing up, he pursued his music, and is well known in Nashville as a session musician and concert pianist, playing with many of the big names on the music scene there, such as Porter Wagoner and Bill Gaither, with whom he is performing in Belfast and Glasgow in early March 2008. He has been nominated for Piano/Keyboard Player of the Year by the Academy of Country Music for three straight years, and most recently has been nominated for various Gospel music awards. Advantages: none whatso ever!
Disadvantages: it all needs putting out with the rubbish

...This is an aweful album characterised by guns, shooting and general ranting about lack of money and why won't you pay my bills etc!? Its all bollocks i'm afraid and needs sorting out soon, no wonder people are shooting people dead on the streets its this filth which promotes it and ought to be banned. I think i've covered just about everything there, this stuff needs to be put out with the rubbish and buried somewhere very quickly! The artists on this album need to really sort themselves out and jack it all in or move to america where they love the stuff! Also as far as value for money goes its naff costing around £20! Definate no no from me!... Read review

Advantages: It's Bill Bailey and there are some classic tracks such as Insect Nation
Disadvantages: Doesn't last long, and many of the tracks are poor choices

The CD gets off to a great start with the brilliant Insect Nation which if you're a Bill Bailey fan you'll probably know well, to share a bit of it: "The spiders are not insects, but in the war they will side with the insects. Traitors traitors, they'll betray us and they'll make us human slaves, in an insect nation." The song moves into Chris de Burgh style….anyone who knows Bill Bailey will know he has a bit of a thing about Chris de Burgh and his monobrow. Next on the CD is Gwydion & Druid - balloon modelling. This really doesn't work on CD, and is thankfully short. Sirens is much better, and is essentially Bill playing around on his keyboard making the noises of emergency vehicles in different countries, highly amusing.
