Advantages: Six Doris Day movies - what more can i say?! Disadvantages: It doesn't include Calamity Jane
This box set is purely for fans of DorisDay! It contains six of Doris' best films:
Young At Heart (1955)- musical with Frank Sinatra. A dramatic musical - fantastic songs and performances by Doris & Frank!
Lover Come Back (1961)- some of DorisDay's best films are those in which she starred with the gorgeous Rock Hudson. Doris and Rock play business rivals who can't help falling for each other.
The Thrill of it all (1963) - Romatic and funny musical starring DorisDay and James Garner. DorisDay becomes a commercial star, much to the disliking of her husband.
Send me no Flowers (1964) - Doris plays Judy Kimbal, wife of George (Rock Hudson). George thinks he is dying and starts to make plans for his wife's future. However, Judy finds out and thinks he's having an affair!! This is a great comedy full ...
Advantages: Entertaining, fun, Doris Day . Disadvantages: Not the greatest or deepest movie ever made !

Bowie had in place the musicians that would become "The Spiders from Mars", with the drummer Mick "Woody Woodmansey who along with Mick Ronson where retained from the previous "The man who sold the World" sessions, Tony Visconti had been replaced on bass guitar by Trevor Bolder and Visconti's production duties where now by ...
