The Euro is one of two major soccer competitions, the other being the fifa World Cup. Euro2000 was co-hosted by Belgium and Holland and this was the first time that UEFA granted co-hosting for the event. The tournament started on the 10 of June 2000 and ended on July 2 2000.
The Group stages
There were a total of 16 teams divided into four groups of four teams.
Group A consisted of Germany, Romania, Portugal and England. There were a couple of exciting encounters in the group, England/Portugal for one. England opened the scoring six minutes in the encounter and added a second goal 12 minutes later. Portugal came roaring back though, first midfielder Luis Figo opened the scoring for Portugal with a hammering shot in the 22 minute of play. Euro Trip is one of those teenage movies that actually can?t help but make you laugh. It?s of a similar humour to American Pie, rude, crude and a little wrong but actually a very well made movie and in my opinion very funny.
Euro Trip was released in 2004 . It stars your usual bunch of teenage actors that have swamped Hollywood in recent years. Some have gone on to make more of their careers, some haven?t done very much at all. The girl in this movie who goes to Europe is Michelle Trachtenberg and she has been in Buffy and gone on to do quite well.

aspects of the soccer match.
sound and commentary are excellent almost like a real life match. Ambient sounds are played in the menu screens, and the commentary resembles a real life Televised fixture. Though a user can set this to zero if they do not require music and commentary.
this game's introduction upon loading, is really fast moving and has some movie based moments from previous European Soccer Championships. Greece's victory in Euro 2004, and Denmark in 2000.
the game has modes including an instant play mode, a uefa euro 2008 option where you can take one of fifty three european nations to guide them through the qualifying stages of the european tournament and achieve victory in the finals.
