just 15. Birds of Europe was originally published in Swedish in 1990. It was translated into English in 1992 and quickly became the best selling Bird Guide of that year. It is now in its third edition, this is the copy that I have, published in 2003. The creation of this Book was described by Lars Jonson as his proudest achievement and was a culmination of five volumes of his work created between 1976 and 1980. Although this Book contains over 2,500 of his illustrations this is less than a quarter of the original drawings that he produced. The format of the book is very simple but as with all reference Books it works because of the sheer wealth of information that it contains within its pages. The TomTom ONE Europe is brilliant

Advantages: Very user friendly
Disadvantages: Slight struggle to get it mounted on the screen

I had brought the TomTom One for my fathers birthday as he is no good at reading maps and also like to travels alot.The TomTom ONE Europe is very easy to use, it is totally user friendly even my 10 year old sister knows how to use it. The maps are in good detail and the online dsiplay is very accurate. It is much smaller than the previous models making it ideal to carry in your pocket. I am definetely buying one of these for myself as it will help save me hours of planning from my journey, and will make sure I don't miss that exit on the motorway. Review of TomTom ONE Europe

TomTom Western Europe, let Jane take the strain.

Advantages: Stress free travelling, comprehensive, clear instructions, cheap
Disadvantages: Some very minor glitches in confusing bends with turns

I recently reviewed the TomTom one, which we bought with the Western Europe maps, and I have been waiting to put Jane (our name, after the voice) through her paces in rural France. As with all TomTom maps, easy to see, easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to update. Absolutely fantastic, I have no idea how we ever coped without her/it. From getting off the ferry, the map/navigation was spot on, good clear instructions, in plenty of time, and the first time I have ever got through Paris without a hitch. To give you an idea of how good, we bought a local map of where we were going on the Limousin/Perigord borders, that did not have the town we were staying in (I call it a town loosely) as it was so small, no problem for TomTom, straight there, which was welcome after 7 hours of driving.
