Housework songs vol 1

Advantages: A good mix of songs
Disadvantages: Doesnt help you get through the housework

A cd thats a couple of years old now but still fun to listen to. I mean this cd says its meant to help you through the housework but I personally dont think it really does,if anything it distracts you,because you just start singing along to all the great tracks this album has to offer, you get caught up in the music and completely lose track of what you were doing - maybe a good thing in a way :-) Housework vol 1 is a double album that has some cracking songs that you just dont seem to hear on the radio anymore such as The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda and Don McLeans - American Pie. The songs on this album just make you feel good and really help to lift your spirits,but I honestly think its marketed wrong,this is a feel good album for anyone just not people doing the housework.I dont think the title of the album really represents ...

Floorfillers Vol 1

Advantages: great track line up, many classics involved
Disadvantages: None as of yet.

Hi, after buying this cd some time back i didnt yet realise how many good songs were actualy on this 2 disk set. Some of the well known artists which appear on here is, DJ Casper, Special D, Scooter, Kelly Llorenna, LMC vs U2, Ultrabeat, XTM and many more. (see below for full track listing) Compared to any other compilations i have purchased in the past this one has been in the cd player the longest! its great to listen to anytime of the day and basicaly anywhere, whether in your car, house or at work! This CD is a huge compilation of various artists and will be enjoyed by anyone who listen's to it. It follows the genre of more of a clubby/trance/electronic disk comapred to other 'chillout' disks. Good Intro to the Traditional Sounds of South-Eastern Europe

Advantages: great selection, good variety
Disadvantages: somehow mistitled, mostly traditional stuff

used to be in Middle Europe before WW2, while after that, despite having its borders move several hundred miles to the west, it become part of Eastern Europe), but usually refers to the countries of the former Soviet block (and sometimes includes Greece). On this album, "Eastern Europe" is actually more of an alternative label for the Balkans. Most tracks come from artists from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and countries of former Yugoslavia, although there is one track from a Russian band, and one from Polish mountains. I can understand this, as the Balkans are probably musically the most interesting and there is only very limited number of connoisseurs of GDR disco and other more obscure manifestations of Eastern European music.
