Eric Clapton, One More Car, One More Rider
Review of One More Car One More Rider (Live) [ECD] - Eric Clapton by  dvdsprks2

Advantages: This is a live peformance
Disadvantages: It's not a triple album

...One More Car, One More Rider by Eric Clapton When this album came out I hadn't made my annual pilgrimage to see Mr Clapton for a few years as he seemed to be taking a break. So I was having withdrawal symptoms of live music at its best and that's what you get from this artist his best at every performance. So it was with great relief that I received this CD for a present for Christmas 2003. . Although in 2004 I saw him at the M.E.N. in Manchester. When putting the CDs on I would make sure you're not interrupted as this is a live CD. Tracks on the first CD Open with a sit down set. 1. Key To The Highway - written by William Broonzy and Charles Seegar - This song kicks the album off and it is one of the best and most covered blues. Most famously by Brownie McGhee & Sonnie Terry. But put this album on and you hear... Read review

Radio One live Lounge - So Original
Review of Radio 1's Live Lounge Vol.2 - Various Artists by  tichplus

Advantages: Original, something for everyone
Disadvantages: None

...I recieved the first album way overdue no less than two months ago. and i loved it. every track infact. so with Radio ones live lounge being one of my faviroute albums i was excited to hear that live lounge two was out aswell.I cant stop listening to it. every track on there is so original, if its not a song performed by a different artist its the artists song but done with an acoustic guitar making it simple but in some cases better than the original ? complicated ? It doesnt matter whether you hate pop beceause theyll be a rock/indie band covering the song and vice versa. its a breath of fresh air. my faviourte track being the girls - calvin harriss. hated the original dance like song but love this as it is an acoustic cover and more to my taste. a must have for all music lovers.... Going Off The Rails
Review of Blood On The Tracks - Bob Dylan by  mikeydred

Advantages: One of Dylan's Finest Albums
Disadvantages: None

...This album was released in 1975 during the break up of his first marraige, and was the first and best of a triumvirate of excellent albums that Dylan released in the 1970's , the others being "Desire" and "Streert Legal". In fact it's between this and "Blonde on Blonde" for his best album ever. There are songs that obviously relate to the breakup such as the first single from the album, "Tangled Up In Blue" and the poignant , acoustic "If You See Her Say Hello", then the more allegorical "Shelter From The Storm" and "Lily, Rosemary and The Jack of Hearts". Interspersed with the songs about the marraige breakup is an excellent snipe at the press, "Idiot Wind" , that , unusually for Dylan, contains more than a little humour. Every track on the album is absolutely stunning, my own favourites being "Lily, Rosemary and The Jack of Hearts... Read review
