Everything must go is the Manic street Preachers sugar coated, I will not ]go as far to say that they turned pop but this album certainly shows the transformational effect Richie’s death had on the band, from relative obscurity the became the biggest band form Wales and charted No 1 album success and No 1 singles success. There are several good songs on the album, noteably the singles Design for life and the title track Everything must go. However they lack the infectious zeal of the holy bible, Richie is dead the Manics go on more popular.
