There are some CDs released in which you can feel the emotion coming through in some of the songs. Well, with this record, you can feel the emotion in every word that Frontman Daryl Palumbo utters.
With a lyric book full of songs devoted to the raw passion and anger that Daryl feels, and musicianship that manages to feel heavy, yet still be inspiring; this is definately one band to listen to.
the CD starts with 'Pretty Lush', which Daryl frequently dedicates to all those who "have the balls to stay straight-edge", like himself. Theres tracks with anger such as 'Siberian kiss' and 'Hurting and shoving', the sarcasm in 'ry rys song', and the self-pity that is deserved in 'Everythingyoueverwantedtoknowabout silence'.

I have two small daughters who love books and also love bears so 'The Beginner's Guide to Bears' was an excellent choice for them. Although it looks like a story book, and indeed its content is entirely fictional, it takes on the guise of a manual which informs its young reader abouteverything that bears like and do!
The book starts by explaining the very special relationship that exists between bears and children:
