‘coz every time we touch I get this feeling, and every time we kiss I swear I could fly’ I remember stumbling across this song on YouTube and ever since then whenever I need cheering up or a good girls night in I play this CD and soon we are all dancing like lunatics. This CD is basically a collection of happy songs, although they are all remixes I love how Cascada transforms them into her own.
Every time we touch is an amazing song it is just so happy and Cascada’s voice fits perfectly with the techno beat. The way she has taken a boring song and shaken it up into a techno classic is astounding. Another fantastic track is ‘Bad Boy’ I love this song because it describes how even after being heart Broken Cascada turned it round so she was in control. I love the independent confidant feel of this song, she swaps from a fragile broken heart to a sussed chick. The whole feel of this song is uplifting and fun. One of my personal favourites on my ‘pick me up list’ is ‘miracle’ while confessing her love and saying how she was hurt Cascada still manages to portray a confidant mood. She sings about lost love and pain but still this song found its way into my happy playlist. That is the amazing this about Cascada, her ability to turn sad songs into happy ones. ‘Cant Stop The Rain’ is another example of this. The song starts of quiet and sad but within 30 seconds she turns it into a happy bubbly track.
But don’t take my word for it go and buy this CD and you will see for yourself how happy and ‘pick me uppish’ (it’s a word) this mix of songs can be. 100% recommended.
