The Feature's new album Exhibit A has reminded me that there are bands out there still worth giving a chance. I must addmitt I had never heard of this band so I guess can give a fair unbiased review of this band and album. The cost is £9.99 from HMV, Virgin any high street music shop. This album has tuneful melodies and sing-along choruses to finely crafted pop songs. The overall sound is kind of a mixture between the hives, the coral and the Kaiser chiefs. The 1st single from the album `Blow it out` is very catchy and really got in my head and just wouldn't get out a sign of a very good song. "If you're happy and you know it, turn the volume up, and blow it out" `There's a million ways to sing the blue` another very catchy tune with great melodies.

The album is 34 minutes long and with each song lasting less than 3minutes this gives a real fast tempo feel to the record, and just fly's by. Lead singer Matt Pelham has a very good sounding voice, there are points in the album he reminds me of a John Lennon singing raw guitar rock/punk. Yet this album is mellow enough to knock out good chart songs.

So I think the band may have another new fan. I will certainly be looking out for them in the future. And thanks to them it had rekindled my appetite to find bands that have yet to make a big impact on the UK charts. Proper band with proper song, not manufacture crap!
