7. Jammin' (Featuring MC Lyte)
Another Exodus track. This time words fail me. Stutters, house beats, high hats, crashing symbols and MC Lyte saying Bob's name over and over again in the background. If this was played in a club, however, it would bring the house down. I should hate it, but I kind of like it........no no no, what am I saying?? It's horrendous. BobMarley wasn't a dance artist. He was reggae through and through.
Original: 5/5
Remix: 1/5 or 4/5 depending on my righteousness
TAP: The tempo!
8. Kinky Reggae (Featuring The Ghetto Youth Crew)
An authentic reggae rhythm punctuates this track and I am quite pleased about that. However, it's one of Marley's weakest compositions and could have actually done with a bit of tampering! Still, the Ghetto Youth Crew (who?) do their best with this track...

...but from Live! which was a live album that the band recorded in 1975 at the Lyceum in London. It is worth noting that the writing credit for the song is given to a Vincent Ford, a friend of Marley's who ran a soup kitchen in Trenchtown. It is thought that Marley himself actually wrote it, but the royalties kept the soup kitchen afloat. The song stands out, particularly live, because of the hook "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" chanted repeatedly.
Could You be Loved is the next track and is taken from the 1980 Uprising album. The single reached No 5 in the UK singles charts, the highest any BobMarley and The Wailers track reached. This is followed by Three Little Birds, (the 'Don't Worry About A Thing' song) from the 1977 Exodus album, one of band's more commercially and critically successful albums. Bob's son Ziggy recently...

Advantages: New unseen footage........... Disadvantages: CD has the usual Bob compilation tracks......
...A truely Excellent documentary on BobMarley, this is one of the first BobMarley documentaries on over a decade which includes new never before seen footage of Bob, the film does include clips from other older bob documentaries but most of the content is new.
The film gives great insight into BobMarley and his life, with interviews from his ex-girlfriend Esther Andserson who speaks about her time with bob which was a very happy time for her, she tells us about how the last 3-4 years of his life after he had his toe injury during a football match, how the people around him didn;t care for bob as much as they could of, she explains how the people with him should have given bob more help (one person in particular she was very angry with) and persuaded him to get professional help for his toe wound, his bandages stayed on for several...
