Westlifes Album number 7 brought out in 31 October 2006 which reached number 1.
I got this album as a christmas present and as i am a massive westlife fan i absolutly loved it. Its a bit defferent from westlifes other albums as its not as many of ballads as the rest. Face to Face became the boybands fifth uk number one album in over seven years.
Below i will go throu all the songs on the album and review each of them for you.
"You Raise Me Up" 4:02 This is a beautful song, a slow meaning ful song with a brilliant choras. You can really hear the true voice of shane, who sings it so perfect.
"When You Tell Me That You Love Me" with Diana Ross 3:58 Fantastic song, probbaly one of my top out of the whole album, duet with dianna ross, the bouys sing diannas origional song.
"Amazing" 2:51
a more lively song, one which you can pick up very fast,and sing with in no time.How a couple could me nmore than amazing.
"That's Where You Find Love" 3:47 i really really liked this song, it starts off slow witha soft beat, then throughout gets a little aster, very meaning ful lyrics. Beautiful ballad.
"She's Back" 3:12 Very fast beat - Probably not one of my favourites in the album, its not the typical westlife songs. Its an ok song.Catchy song about an ex.
"Desperado" 3:38 Desparado is a very slow starting song, its a good song but personally i feel like it drags on abit. its a bit too slow and not as catchy as others.
"Colour My World" 3:57 This is a good song, i quite liked it. its got a bit of a beat to it and you can sing to it.
"Hit You with the Real Thing" 3:02 This song is quite fast, one you can dance to, good lyrics, really like this song. you will definatly find yourself sining along in no time with this one.
"Change Your Mind" 3:42 very catchy song, brilliant lyrics, you will love this song, i did.
the album as a whole
the album as a whole i thought was brilliant, a great mixture of songs, from balads to medium beat songs to quite fast songs. i am a massive westlife fan anyway and i love everything they do as they all have fantastic voices and amazing perfermers.
