The other week I was out shopping , when I decided to have a rummage in one of the many charity shops in my local town. I find shops like these great for finding DVDs and books (quite often , in very good condition!) at a really good price , and so I find by buying these this way I save a lot of a money and get more DVDs for a £10 in the shop , than I can if I buy them on the internet.
Browsing through the huge collection of DVDs , all standing neatly on the shelves before my eyes , One with a red cover caught my eyes. 'Jimmy Carr : In Concert' was the title. I didn't really know much about this Jimmy Carr , although I remember him being a guest on a television chat show programme (I think it was Charlotte Church's show) and finding him quite funny , and so I decided what he was really like as a stand-up comedian.
Jimmy Carr is ...

THE GILMORE GIRLS
Awwww the Gilmore Girls is LEGENDARY!!!!!
Its the best programme in the world!!
The series is about a mother and daughter who are VERY close, Lorelai lived with her rich parents who were very stuck up, while she liked to have fun, when she was 16 she rebelled and ended up pregnant, the father split and Lorelai ran away to a little town Stars Hollow 30 miles from Harvard where her parents live.
Despite the odds she's done well for herself, she manages an Inn, (the Independance Inn), and has a lovely house with an amazingly brought up daughter Rory (Lorelai but she's called Rory).
The series begins when Rory who is very clever and into her education, wants to go to Chiltenen, a private school, and her mother fights to get her in, but when they want the tuition fees up front, she is forced to go to her ...
Advantages: Good location, good standard, clean and pleasant Disadvantages: A bit anonymous
designed and very welcoming. As with so much in Scandinavia care is put into the design and there are many nice touches around the entranceway and in the lobby. Without going over the top there are several nice touches in and around the reception area which deserve a quick stroll around.
Facilities ~
The Square has two meeting rooms, each capable of holding 20 people and offering modern A/V equipment and wireless internet access.
Many room tariffs are on a bed and breakfast basis and the mainly cold buffet breakfast is served in the 6th floor restaurant. This was a fairly standard offering with the usual selection of bread, cereals, fruit and cold meats. Everything looked fresh and was well presented and even if it hadn't been included in the room rate the £10 charge represents excellent value in this most expensive of cities. The room ...

Album Notes
FAIR AND SQUARE is Jimmie Dale Gilmore's debut album, released in 1988 when Gilmore was 43. In the '70s, Gilmore had been a member of The Flatlanders, with fellow Texans Joe Ely and Butch Hancock. Ely also produced FAIR AND SQUARE, and these ten songs draw from Gilmore's cohorts as well as from a number of other Texan writers, including Townes Van Zandt. Musically, Gilmore takes a path similar to that of Gram Parsons, pointing the way towards the alternative country movement of the '90s. His fragile waver is highly controlled and makes for an incredibly emotive instrument. Gilmore is a writer and singer of great taste, and his work has happily found a broader audience thanks to his three excellent Elektra albums, AFTER AWHILE, SPINNING AROUND THE SUN, and BRAVER NEWER WORLD. It is also worth noting that The Flatlanders' sole album, MORE A LEGEND THAN A BAND, appeared on CD in 1990 after being available only on 8-track tape since its release in 1971.
